honestly i must say the only for product i have ever liked (other than the trucks) is the new mustang, i absolutley love the direction they went with it, and hope more car companies follow suit, instead of going towards that new wave, high tech looking crap . . .

^ Maybe next the electronics industry will go back to 486 proccesors and computers size of cars with the power of a modern calculator. I hate moving backward or living in the past. Its part of the reason I can't understand people holding onto low tech muscle cars when they can be out accelerated, cornered, and braked by a lightly modded Civic for 1/10th the cost. This includes manufactures that hold dear to pushrods and specfic outputs similar to a Model T. It just doesn't make sense. Like I said, you don't see people holding dear to old computers for nostalgia sake or because its what they grew up with. Just IMO, of course.

Like I said, you don't see people holding dear to old computers for nostalgia sake or because its what they grew up with. Just IMO, of course. with all the technology they have today they can make cars kill the old classic muscle cars but there is nothing like gettling in an old car with eveything on the cars metal except the glass. then launch like a rocket b/c ther is so much raw horsepower!! but with the manufacturers when they can get 400 hp out of a push rod engine and keep costs low with there cars why not. if everyone put all there high tech products in cars there would be no way for any average guy to buy it. now u might say honda does it and other manufacturers but when u make the whole car over seas u can make the labor cost and the product cost low because of the law. but it is harder here. with push rods it is like the old saying "if it aint broke dont fix it". if they can make hp by controling the old style engine's with computers why not and when they can make the costs low enough u might see all engines dohc possibly a v-tec type system on all cars. but i do like to see the cars get modern with the times. also what is wrong with making a car have a classic looking body with a high tech chassis, engine, and computer controled system? i dont see anything wrong with that but that is my opinion

Like I said, you don't see people holding dear to old computers for nostalgia sake or because its what they grew up with. . well, there are some people who have old computers and nintendo systems, but the new trend is to repackage old games into smaller, simpler units. They're those little plug n' play joysticks. It's a marketing thing. Oh but sticking to the post, I too have a Saturn, and so far it's pretty reliable. I've only had 1 major problem, and that was when the starter relay was shot, but other than that, it's been good to me, so I figure I'll pay it off and grind it to the ground. It's going to loose it's resale value, so I'm not going to pour tons of money into it. It's already got some wicked paint scuffs (I HATE HARTFORD) and so I just said fuk it. I'll pimp the interior, but I'll keep the outside looking like bumper cars.
