Theres lot of little shit that adds up that you would never think of. Like gaskets lines fitting and so on.

yea i know, but im not gonna think about that right now, cuz thats proly never gonna happen, the exhaust should be fully done by wednesday at the latest, turns out honda was retarded and cast the bolts right into the catalytic converter, so im gonna have to cut the studs and heads off, then drill holes through the flange. so that could take some time to do, and i dunno if im gonna have that time this week. hopefully i do, but i dunno. i connected the middle pipe (i like to call it the s-pipe cuz thats what it looks like) today so im like 2/3 of the way done

Just cuz I'm dumb..... what's the difference between the h22 and the f22? I'm guessing ones an DOHC and the other isn't? The h22 is the prelude engine right?.... I think....
If you insist on not going turbo, then why not go with one of the new V6s or even the V6 for your gen (if there is one).

h22 DOHC, 200 hp 163 ft/lbs of torque aluminum black FRM sleeves. 10.6 compression (11.0 in the JDM prelude engines) this engine sucks for turbo unless it is resleeved and the compression is lowered because of its thin sleeves. f22 SOHC, anywhere from 125 (f22a1) to 145 hp (f22b1) and 137 (f22a1) to 147 ft/lbs of torque (f22b1). iron sleeves and 8.6:1 comp ratio make it a good candidate for boost, but the single over head cam severly limits tunability.
as for the new C30 V6, i would have to custom fab a mount kit for it to fit, lengthen the nose so it would fit, and thats an OBD2 motor (ive got an OBD1 computer).
K24 would be the same thing. custom mounts, custom header, intake, pretty much everything. too much of a hassle and with only 160 hp, and the fact that i could most likley find a h22 cheaper, its not a good choice yet.
