yea the box for mine was only like 6 1/2 feet but it was so fuckin heavy that shipping was still like 50 bucks (i had other stuff shipped too but that was brake pads and a dash kit for my sisters car, so it was prolly more like 35 or 40 for just the exhaust)

alot longer than i should have been, but ive been doing it really slow and ive prolly only spent like an hour at the most on the exhaust, spent more time on the brakes cuz my car is old and rusty and shit. hopefully i can have it finished sometime this weekend cuz i really want to hear what it sounds like

nice, how much did it cost? i dont know much about those cars but how much power will you gain from that and does that motor have potential?

well it cost me 340 bucks, but it goes for like 400 retail (i have connections). the motor in the car . . . no potential at al, well i shouldnt say that but i dont want to turbo it, so it doesnt have much potential at all. so im gonna swap it for an h22 when i accumulate enough money. im not expecting to gain alot of hp,maybe 5 at the most, this was actually somewhat of a necessary mod, cuz the car came with what the seller called "a minor exhaust leak" but was actually a complete separation in the exhaust system, right now all the gasses are shooting straight out of the I-pipe, and when i eventually go to have an emissions test, thats not gonna pass me. this is taking me soooo long cuz there bolts at teh connection between the cat and the I-pipe are all rusted and melted on. so my dad said he would cut those off for me. anyways, i think i should have it done by sunday, but i dunno, my dad is pretty busy at work and hasnt had much extra time latley.

why dont you want to go turbo? it is your project car rght? go to homemadeturbo.com. i sold a f23a1 a few months ago and the guy that was useing it said he was makeing over 300whp on a stock motor with tuning. its something to think about. it could just be a budget set up that costs $600-700. were doing one on brandons (sireg) car and once you know what to do the hardest part is finding a good deal on parts. check out ebay for some intercoolers, and that web site i just gave you for all the other parts.

ive been wanting an h22 since i saw the article in SCC about the swap, i might turbo that sometime in the future, but the swap is what ive wanted to do forever. i might change me mind, and with the frequency that i have been in the past couple weeks i prolly will, and go turbo, but for now im pretty set on doing a swap. my dad was able to cut the bold off the old i-pipe for me, since im pretty scared of sparks i couldnt do it myself, but im proly gonna go and see what i do today after im done with my homework . . . i hate high school

The turbo h22 rips ass. Really rips but internals are key. A friend toasted a motor from his turbo in like what a day or too. Ask moosecock he was in the car I think when the motor went.

well thats the reason why i would do it, the FRM sleeves that it uses suck balls cz theyre so thin, so i would need iron ones to replce those, the rods and pistons would need upgrading too, well it would be downgrading to an extent because the compression ratio would have to be lowered from that lofty 10:1 or 10.5:1 that it is stock. a turbo kit could be peiced together for under 1500 bucks and i think that a whole turbo h22 could be done for less than 5k but i just dont ahve that kind of money
