Alright here's the spot I'm in. My accord is REALLY getting up there in miles (206k) and even though it runs perfectly, with that many miles you never know. I want to look into getting a new car but at the same time I have other expenses. What I would really like to get is an RSX-S, which I wouldn't have a problem saving up for IF I also wasnt wanting to start to save up to move out of my damn house sometime in the next year.
Another thing I was considering is just buying something like a civic for less money and doing a bunch of mods to it. That would be less than the RSX, but would still cost a bit of money.
Another idea is that since I'm not completely happy with my accord looking the way it is, is to slap some rims on and lower it so it looks nicer and then just ride it out until it dies and worry about getting another car then. Any ideas?

For what a new RSX costs (cheaper actually) you could get a new and much faster SRT-4, Redline, SE-R, WRX, even a Mini Pooper S, etc. I won't even list the used cars you could get (and mod) for that kind of money. A new stock RSX is a pretty poor choice for the price.

No offense to people with a civic. But i see civics about every 5 min in one day. There everywere. Not that there bad cars, but you should go with the RSX and modd it.

. . . you see them every 5 seconds because they are popular cars, and alot of them were sold . . . it really doesnt take much for a civic to stand out on the street . . . mostly because so many people do them wrong
